Tom Ford Lost Cherry Decant

Lost Cherry opens like a jar of maraschino cherries and bitter almond liqueur, and for the first thirty minutes it is one of the loudest things you can put on skin. Then it gets more interesting: a rose and jasmine heart cuts the sugar, and a tonka-balsam-sandalwood base gives it a warm, resinous finish that lasts most of a day.

Performance is enormous. Ten hours on skin and sillage that genuinely fills a room, so one spray is often the right answer. It is a night-out fragrance and a cold-weather one, and it is not remotely subtle.

It is also expensive, extremely divisive and heavily counterfeited, which makes it one of the most-decanted fragrances in the market. Trying 2 ml before spending three hundred dollars on something this polarising is simply good sense.
