Delina Exclusif takes the litchi-and-rose framework of the original and pushes it into extrait territory. The fruit is softer and pear-like, the Turkish rose is deeper and more velvety, and the vanilla-sandalwood base is significantly thicker. It is the same idea rendered in oils rather than in watercolour.

Performance improves accordingly — nine to ten hours with a warm sillage that stays close after the first couple of hours. It suits cool weather and evenings better than the original, which is brighter and more seasonal.

This is the more grown-up of the two and the one people tend to graduate to. Worth a 5 ml if you already know you like Delina and want to know whether the upgrade is real.
